Ohio Grantmakers Forum is ready. Are you? Foundations on the Hill (FOTH) starts on Tuesday. In a blog post earlier today, Claudia Herrold of OGF wrote that she and OGF President George Espy will be “joining more than 200 funders from across the country in DC on Wednesday and Thursday.”
OGF’s visit will be focused on two important points: 1) the promotion and protection of the charitable sector and 2) the reinstatement of the IRA charitable rollover provision, which expired at the end of 2011, taking away an important charitable giving vehicle that has benefited hundreds of Ohio nonprofits, including community foundations.
